Dear Friends and Family,
Truly our God is wonderful in the way He works in our lives. Today I received the news that Gospel Fellowship Association Missions has accepted me as a career missionary. I am excited about the
opportunity of giving my life to serve on the foreign mission field. Teaching for two years at Bob Jones Memorial Bible College in Manila, Philippines, has given me a love for Filipinos and a desire to tell
more people about God’s love for them.
I would like to thank every one of you who have prayed for travelling mercies for me. The Lord gave me a safe trip down the East Coast from NY to SC on April 14-15. Driving for 12 hrs. at a time is a big
challenge when one has not driven for ten months! And especially, driving in the States is a bit different from driving in the Philippines. In the Philippines, there may be lines painted on the roads, but vehicles do not necessarily stay in between the lines. Sometimes they drive on the lines and create a new lane that is not even there.
Thank you also for praying for my interview and meetings with GFA on April 16-18. It was a blessing to be with the office staff and see their heartfelt desire to aid me as I begin deputation and eventually
return to the field.
Please pray for the following requests:
1. Safety as I drive long distances alone.
2. New churches to schedule me for meetings.
3. Financial support
4. Opportunities to witness
My deputation schedule is as follows:
April 20–Hurst Baptist Church, Sylvania, GA
April 30–Fellowship Baptist Church, Taylors, SC
May 11–Calvary Baptist Church, Albany, NY
May 14–Grace Bible Church, Cohoes, NY
May 18–Harvest Fields Baptist Church, South Glens Falls, NY
May 28–Bethel Baptist Church, Hampton, VA
June 1–Peace Baptist Church, Wilmington, NC
Thank you so much for your faithful prayers and support. May God
bless you as you serve Him.
