Jolea Jensen started learning piano at the age of 5 1/2 as a student of Betsy Jensen. She later studied under Dr. Isabelle Williams (former professor at Skidmore College), Dr. Karen Wilson (Bob Jones University – BJU) and Mrs. Joan Pinkston (BJU).
Jolea received her Bachelor of Music in Church Music with a Piano Proficiency in 2001 from BJU in Greenville, South Carolina. In 2006 she received her Master of Arts in Church Ministries from BJU.
Since 1992 through the present, Jolea has been teaching private music lessons. Between 2001 through 2004, she was a general music and private lessons teacher at Thrifthaven Baptist Academy (now Heritage Baptist Academy) in Cordova, Tennessee.
Between 2004 through 2006 she wrote and taught a preschool music curriculum to children ages 2-6 at BJU in Greenville, S.C.
Between 2006 through 2017, Jolea was a music professor at Bob Jones Memorial Bible College in Quezon City, Philippines. She taught music theory, music education, handbells, private piano and group piano.
