We are personally very thankful for Jolea.  Jolea has thrown herself into the work of the ministry in the Philippines.  Several churches in the Philippines owe her a tremendous debt for the incomparable advance in their music ministry due to her tireless labors.  Outside the classroom, she has proven herself a burdened soulwinner.  The Lord is really using her in the Philippines.

Jolea Jensen has proven to be a gifted musician with a heart for service. She has a soulwinners desire and a love for the people with whom she has worked.  We are pleased to recommend her to anyone interested in ministering to the people of the Philippines.

I would like to highly recommend Miss Jolea Jensen.   She has a real servant’s heart and is eager to use her talents to reach others with the Gospel.  May the Lord speed her on her way to continue serving in the Philippines.

Jolea Jensen, Serving the Lord in the Philippines

Churches in the Philippines struggle with the same problems with music standards that churches in the States have today. Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) is very common, especially since CCM encompasses most materials available for churches to use. Many churches lack a capable pianist, due to the fact that adequate training is often unaffordable and hard to find. These churches may resort to using recorded CCM music for their congregational accompaniment.

The goal of the music program at BJMBC is to teach students to use and appreciate quality music that honors the Lord.
